Margery was born about 1496 in Over Peover, Carincham, Cheshire, England. Margery's father was Sir John Mainwaring and her mother was Katherine Honford. Her paternal grandparents were John De Mainwaring and Matilda De Leigh. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Randall, Edward Of Whitmore De, John, Katherine and Maud. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Richard. She died on September 14th, 1561 in Nantwich, Cheshire, England.General Notes
