John MURROW 
John was born about 1869 in Camp Township, Polk Co., Iowa.1 John's father was Nicholas Wallingford MURROW and his mother was Phoebe STRAIT. His paternal grandparents were Charles MURROW and Amy BLUE. He had two brothers and a sister, named Charles Milton, John Salter and Roxie Eva. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Albert Alfonso, David Blue, Thomas Grant, Nicholas Wallingford, Leroy Asa, Amy Ann, Mary Elizabeth, Etta Mae and Emily Ethel.-
