John Peyson was born on August 29th, 1869 in Lincoln Co., GA.. John Peyson's father was Andrew Jackson MURRAY and his mother was Eleanor Anne GLAZE. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Grant GLAZE and Permelia G. RHODES. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William Thomas, David, Alex, Sallie and Aunt Pat. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 51 on August 18th, 1921 in Augusta, Richmond Co., GA..
