Tom MOREHEAD 
Tom was born in 1837. Tom's father was Armistead S. MOREHEAD and his mother was Dinah (Mrs. Armistead S. ) MOREHEAD. His paternal grandparents were Presley M. MOREHEAD and Mary "Polly" (Polly) DUNCAN. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Richard P., James Woodson, Samuel and Martha Jane. He died at the age of 76 in 1913.General Notes
By one of his slaves, Dinah, he fathered another of his slaves, Tom.
Tom Morehead was freed, and served in Company E of the 129th US Colored Infantry during the US Civil War. He was a great-grandfather of Cassius Marcellus Clay, now Muhammad Ali Haj, the boxer.
