Marcus Levi MCGUIRE 
Marcus Levi was born on June 5th, 1885 in Vienna twp., Pottawatomie Co., Kansas.1 Marcus Levi's father was Levi MCGUIRE and his mother was Nancy Hannah NEVINS. His maternal grandparents were John Jacob NEVINS and Sarah Nellie BENNETT. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William Francis, Herbert Edward, Marion Isaac, Roy Chester, Sara Isabelle, Ida Florence, Daisy Ann, Martha Lenore, Susie Pearl and Ella Viola. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 25 on December 30th, 1910 in Alanreed, Gray Co., Texas.1 General Notes

Marcus L. McGuire was born June 5, 1885 and died December 30, 1910, aged 25 years, 6 months, and 22 days.
Deceased was a son of Mr and Mrs Levi McGuire of Vienna township, and was born and raised in this locality. He has been sick of heart trouble for five years and died suddenly at the home of his wife's parents, Mr and Mrs W. A. Stone, at Alanreed, Texas, of hemorrhage of the heart. He spent a ...... part of last summer with his parents here and returned to Alanreed, Texas, on October 22 last, in the hopes of restoring his health, and for a time was much improved. Only a few weeks ago his parents received word that he was in better health and was gaining in flesh, and the news of his death was a shock to his parents and the community as well.
He was married to Miss Theodosha Stone of Alanreed, Texas, on the 30th of May last.
Interment was made at Alanreed. The many friends of the family extend deepest sympathy in this their affliction.
