Gilbert Lyon 
Gilbert was born on July 20th, 1719 in Greenwich, Fairfield, Connecticut. Gilbert's father was Thomas Lyon and his mother was Abigail Ogden. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Lyon and Mary Hoyt. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, Jonathon, David, Joseph, Abigail, Experience, Mary, Jemima, Deborah, Esther and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 97 in 1816.-
