Angharad verch Llewelyn 
Angharad was born in May 1205 in Caernarvonshire, Wales.1 Angharad's father was Llewelyn (The Great) ap Iorweth and her mother was Joan Plantagenet. Her paternal grandparents were Prince of Gwynedd Iowerth Drwyndwn ap Owain and Marared verch Madog; her maternal grandparents were King of England John (Lackland) Plantagenet of England and Agatha de Ferrers. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Dafydd, Tegwared-Y-Baiswen, Llywelyn, Elen, Margred and Helen. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Fawr and Ddu, The Dark Eyed.-
