Walter Lindsay 
Walter was born in 1172 in Luffness, Aberlady, East Lothian, Scotland.1 Walter's father was Sir William de Lindsey and his mother was Alianore de Lindsay. His paternal grandparents were Walter Lindsay and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Lord of Limesay Galfrid de Lindsay and Amicia de Bidum. He had two brothers and a sister, named David, William and Alice. He was the second oldest of the four children.-
