Sir David Lindsay 
Sir David was born in 1471 in Finhaven Castle, Oathlaw, Angusshire, Scotland. Sir David's father was Sir Alexander Lindsay and his mother was Isobel Campbell. His maternal grandparents were 1st Earl of Argyll Sir Colin Campbell and Isobel Stuart. He had a brother and a sister, named Alexander and Isobel. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 71 on November 27th, 1542 in Castle Crawford, Lanarkshire, Scotland.-
