Hancock Lee

Hancock was born in 1653 in Dividing Creek, Virginia.¹ Hancock's father was Colonel Richard Henry Lee and his mother was Anne Constable Owen. His paternal grandparents were John Lyes and Jane Hancock; his maternal grandparents were Richard Owen and Anne Constable. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Francis, Richard, William, Charles, Elizabeth and Anne. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
