Walter Leake 
Walter was born in 1635 in Sutton, Derbyshire, England.1 Walter's father was Richard Leke and his mother was Elizabeth? HARWICK. His paternal grandparents were Francis Leke and Mary Egoke. He had a brother named Richard. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 65 in 1700 in Nottinghamshire, England.2 1 General Notes

This is also probably where the generations of LEAKES combine. We
believe they were also the parents of Richard LEAK born in 1675 in
England, the father of William and Samuel Leake, both of whom were
physicians.
