Irene Laskaris

Irene was born in 1200.¹ Irene's father was Emperor of Nicea Theodore Laskaris I and her mother was Princess Anna Angelos. Her paternal grandparents were Manolis Laskaris and Ionna Karatzaina; her maternal grandparents were Alexius Angelos III and Euphrosyne Kamateros Dukas. She had a sister named Maria. She was the older of the two children.
