Joseph Crawford Landis 
Joseph Crawford was born on July 12th, 1894 in Dysartsville, Mcdowell Co, NC. Joseph Crawford's father was Thomas Bratcher Landis and his mother was Ida Delphinia Goforth. His maternal grandparents were James Marion Goforth and Harriet Anna Giles. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Malcolm Key, Edwin Foy and Lillie Mae. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 75 on September 18th, 1969.General Notes
