John Sheriff Knyvet 
John Sheriff was born in 1358 in Mendlesham, Suffolk, England. John Sheriff's father was John Lord Knyvet and his mother was Eleanor Basset. His maternal grandparents were Ralph Basset and Joan Sturdon. He had four brothers and a sister, named Robert, Henry, Ralph, Richard and Maria. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 60 on December 4th, 1418 in Mendlesham, Suffolk, England.General Notes
