1st Lord Gilbert Kennedy 
Gilbert was born in 1406 in Maybole, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 Gilbert's father was James Dunure Kennedy and his mother was Princess of Scotland Mary Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Sir Gilbert Kennedy and Agnes Maxwell; his maternal grandparents were King Robert of Scotland III and Annabella Drummond. He had two brothers named John and James. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James, William, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 73 on March 6th, 1479.1 -
