Christopher James 
Christopher was born in 1720 in Martins Hundred, James City County, Virginia.1 Christopher's father was John James and his mother was Justina Thruston. His paternal grandparents were Captain John William James and Anne Wyndham; his maternal grandparents were John Thruston and Elizabeth Carey. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Thruston, John and May.-
