Jemima was born on April 18th, 1774 in Falls Church, Fairfax Co., VA.. Jemima's father was Thomas JENKINS Sr. and her mother was Jemima WILLIAMS. Her paternal grandparents were Ezekiel JENKINS Sr. and Mary GUNNELL. She had three brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Micajah, Owen, Thomas, Ann Williams, Elizabeth and Keziah. She had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Benjamin, Chapley Ross, Hiram Henson, John, Lemuel, Abner, Ruth, Permelia, Catherine, Mary and Caroline. She died at the age of 80 on January 10th, 1855 in Cripple Creek, Greenville Co., S. C..-
