Lawson Joel Howell 
Lawson Joel was born on May 8th, 1863 in SC and his baptism took place in Census 1930.1 Lawson Joel's father was William H. Howell and his mother was Harriet Hannah Houser. His maternal grandparents were Henry Houser and Faithy Jones. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William H., John J., Benjamin Franklin, Rejoiner William, Mary Caroline, Sarah Emma 'Sally' and Harriet Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on October 24th, 1943 in Selma, Fresno Co, CA. He was buried in Selma Cemetery, Selma, Fresno Co, CA.2 General Notes
