Cyrus Johnson Houser 
Cyrus Johnson was born on November 6th, 1833 in York Co, SC and his baptism took place in Census 1850.1 Cyrus Johnson's father was Henry Houser and his mother was Faithy Jones. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Jones and Faithy Roberts. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John T., Henry Robertson, David R., Jane Christina, Nancy Jane, Eliza, Faithy L. and Harriet Hannah. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 23 on September 3rd, 1857. He was buried in Howser Cemetery, Blacksburg, Cherokee Co, SC.1 General Notes
