Mary A. was born about 1847 in ,Hart, KY.1 Mary A.'s father was John Harper Houk and her mother was Malinda Fletcher ALDERSON. Her paternal grandparents were George Houk and Susannah Harper. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Milton Lee, Alberry King, Warren P., Houk, Robert Fish, Wilbur Gibbens, James A., Alice Elizabeth, Martha Bell and Myra Edward.General Notes
