Hopestill Holbrook 
Hopestill was born in 1647 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts.1 Hopestill's father was William Holbrook and her mother was Elizabeth Pitts. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Holbrook and Jane Powyes. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Cornelius, William, John, Elizabeth, Jane, Mehitable, Experience, Millicent and Persis. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 59 on January 12th, 1706 in Mendon, Worcester, Massachusetts.1 General Notes
