Joseph Hixson 
Joseph was born about 1802. Joseph's father was Timothy Stringfield Hixson and his mother was Rebecca Hughes. His maternal grandparents were Francis Hughes and Rebekah Allen. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Houston, Reuben, Ephriam, Colonel Anderson, Timothy Springfield, Margaret, Sarah and Rebecca. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
