George Washington Hixson 
George Washington was born on October 17th, 1842 in , Hamilton County, Tennessee.1 George Washington's father was Wilson Hixson and his mother was Nancy Hughes. His maternal grandparents were John Hughes and Jane Skyles. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Samuel, Ephraim Franklin, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Margaret. He was the oldest of the seven children.-
