Raleigh HAMMOND

Raleigh was born on May 11th, 1756 in Fairfax Co., VA.. Raleigh's father was Capt. Samuel HAMMOND Sr. and his mother was Mary Elizabeth JENKINS. His maternal grandparents were Ezekiel JENKINS Sr. and Mary GUNNELL. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Job, Samuel, Charlotte Lois and Mary. He died at the age of 83 on August 24th, 1839 in Kershaw Co., S. C..
