Maud Ellen was born in 1914 in Rockingham Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1920.1 Maud Ellen's father was Ernest Lenford Grant and her mother was Susie Hiatt. Her paternal grandparents were Ulysses Simmons Grant and Lucinda Bullen. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Raymond Levey, James Norton, Beatrice and Catherine.General Notes
