Dora Mae Grant 
Dora Mae was born on May 10th, 1898 in Surry Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1930.1 Dora Mae's father was Ulysses Simmons Grant and her mother was Lucinda Bullen. Her paternal grandparents were Milton Powell Grant and Sara Elizabeth Simmons. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William Alfred, Ernest Lenford, Maude Louvenia and Sarah Ellen. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 79 on May 7th, 1978 in Martinsville, Martinsville City, VA. She was buried in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.1 1 General Notes
