William Douglas Givens 
William Douglas was born on February 2nd, 1827 in Kentucky. William Douglas' father was John Thompson Givens and his mother was Isabella Givens. His maternal grandparents were Eleazar Givens and Jane "Jenny" Robertson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert Alan, Eleazar S., John Thompson, Thomas Kerry, Jerome James, Jane Robertson and Mary E.. He was the third oldest of the eight children.General Notes
