John Gilhagie 
John was born on August 2nd, 1616 in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland and his christening took place on August 2nd, 1616 in High Church, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.1 John's father was Ninian Gilhagie and his mother was Margaret Woddrop. His paternal grandparents were Ninian Gilhagie and Catherine Arneill. He had two brothers and six sisters, named James, Niniane, Isobell, Barbara, Isobell, Catherine, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
