Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Lewis MURROW and Sarah BLUE. She had four brothers and four sisters, named David, John Joshua, Daniel Thomas, Charles Wesley, Martha Ellen, Sarah Elizabeth, Rebecca Emeline and Laura Dorcas.
