William Foster 
William was born in 1828 in Kentucky, United States. William's father was James Foster and his mother was Elizabeth Forrester. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Foster and Susanna Foster. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John P., George Washington, Fountain F, Robert M, Joel Y, David P, Mary and Sarah. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 42 in 1870 in Indiana.-
