Tennie E. was born on February 27th, 1885 in Davie, North Carolina.1 Tennie E.'s father was Brainard Taylor Foster and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Frye. Her paternal grandparents were William M Foster and Emeline Potts. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Romulus Alvin, William Anderson, Vertie Belle and Minnie Pantha. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 81 on June 17th, 1966 in Advance, Davie, North Carolina.-
