Opal Foster 
Opal was born on December 7th, 1913 in Davie, North Carolina.1 Opal's father was Robert Lee Foster and her mother was Mozelle Tucker. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel T Foster and Sarah Jennifer Allen. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Lawrence Edward, Johnny Franklin, Ruby Tucker, Laura L, Magdalene, Hallie and Doris Thelma. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 87 on December 29th, 2000 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth, North Carolina.-
