His paternal grandparents were Isaac Hillery Foster and Harriet Bevill. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George H, Samuel, Thomas, Elizabeth, Tartas and Minni. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named William Dennis "Denny". He died at the age of 58 on May 12th, 1920 in Linden, Montgomery Co., IN, US.-
