Margaret Forbes 
Margaret was born on October 14th, 1557 in Huntly, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Margaret's father was William Forbes and her mother was Elizabeth Keith. Her paternal grandparents were John Forbes and Elizabeth Lyon; her maternal grandparents were Sir William Keith and Janet De Grey. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander, John, William, Arthur, James, Robert, Abraham, Jean, Elizabeth, Christian, Isobel, Catherine, Barbara and Anne. She was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children.-
