Margaret Forbes 
Margaret was born about 1578 in Corse, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Margaret's father was William Forbes and her mother was Elizabeth Strachan. Her paternal grandparents were Patrick Forbes and Marjory Lumsden. She had six brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Arthur, Alexander, James, Robert, Agnes, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
