John Forbes 
John was born about 1568 in Corse, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. John's father was William Forbes and his mother was Elizabeth Strachan. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Forbes and Marjory Lumsden. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Arthur, Alexander, James, Robert, Margaret, Agnes, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died on March 28th, 1635 in Delft, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands.-
