Alan FitzWalter 
Alan was born in 1133 in Paisley Abbey, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 Alan's father was Walter FitzAlan and his mother was Eschyna de Londoniis. His paternal grandparents were Alan FitzFlaald and Avelina De Hesdin. He had two sisters named Beatrice and Marjorie. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 71 in 1204 in Dundonald Castle, Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 General Notes
Alan Fitz Walter was The Second Great Steward of Scotland. He is said to have been a Crusader with Richard Coeur-De-Lion. Alan seems to have emulated his father in the generosity of his grants and appears to have enjoyed as much property as his father, which enabled him to act generously and wisely. He was a witness to some of the charters of William the Lion, under whose reign Alan flourishedAlan Fitz Walter was The Second Great Steward of Scotland.
