King of the Isle of Man Ivar FitzReginald 
Ivar was born in 1227 in Balley Chashtal, Castletown, Isle of Man.1 Ivar's father was Ragnald (Magnus) Olafsson and his mother was Mary de Ergadia. His paternal grandparents were King of the Isle of Man Olaf (The Black) Godredson and Christina MacAntagart. He had two brothers and a sister, named Ragnald, Magnus and Mary. He was the second youngest of the four children.
