Baron John FitzAlan 
John was born in 1348 in Echingham, Sussex, England.1 John's father was Earl Richard FitzAlan and his mother was Eleanor Plantagenet. His maternal grandparents were Earl Henry Plantagenet and Maud de Chaworth. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Thomas, Joan, Alice and Eleanor. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Henry and Maud. He died at the age of 31 on December 16th, 1379 in at sea, Irish Sea. He was buried in Priory, Lewes, Sussex, England.1 1 General Notes
