John Edwards

John was born in 1831 in Illinois. John's father was Ezekiel Edwards and his mother was Mary (Polly) Rucker. His maternal grandparents were John Rucker and Nancy Ann Shelton. He had six brothers and six sisters, named William, James, Ezekiel, Austin, Samuel, George, Francis "Frankie", Mahalie (Mahulu), Nancy C., Mary Angeline, Amanda "Mandy" and Betsy Ann.
