Timothy EDWARDS 
Timothy was born on July 25th, 1738 in Northampton, Hampden Co., Massachusetts.1 Timothy's father was Jonathan EDWARDS and his mother was Sarah PIERPONT. His maternal grandparents were James PIERPONT and Mary HOOKER. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Jonathan, Pierpont, Sarah, Jerusha, Mary, Lucy, Susannah, Eunice, Elizabeth and Esther. He died at the age of 75 on October 27th, 1813.2 General Notes
BIOGRAPHY: Graduated from Princeton in 1757. Was a merchant inElizabethtown, New Jersey until 1771 and then in Stockbridge, Massachusetts where he was deacon in Congregational Church and in public office until 1787. Member of State Council, 1775-80, and Judge of Probate, 1778-87.
