Sam Houston Dodd 
Sam Houston was born on September 23rd, 1888 in Henderson Co, TN and his baptism took place in Draft Registration. Sam Houston's father was Robert Adkins 'Sam' Dodd and his mother was Moriah Marian Cary. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Harrison Cary and Polly. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Hubard, Elmer Towny, Joe Griffin, Mackie, Robert Theron, Otis, Carie Ester, Lela Elizabeth and Infant. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 42 in 1930.General Notes
