William Joseph Despain 
William Joseph was born on March 19th, 1813 in , Green, Kentucky. William Joseph's father was Peter DeSpain and his mother was Nancy Skaggs. His paternal grandparents were John Despain and Susan Scott. He had eleven brothers and three sisters, named John, Marshall, Hiram, Mark, Stephen, Harrison, Edmond, Silas, James, Thomas, William Perry, Susanna Elizabeth, Drury and Nancy. He was the fourth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 64 on December 22nd, 1877 in Orracha, Nebraska.General Notes
