Jeanne De Dampierre

Jeanne was born in 1229 in Dampierre, Jura, France.¹ Jeanne's father was Guillaume II De Dampierre and her mother was Countess Of Flanders & Hainault Marguerite. Her paternal grandparents were Constable of Champagne Gui II De Dampierre and Mahaut De Bourbon. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Guillaume, Count of Flanders Guy, Jean, Marie and Dame de Bourbon Agnes. She was the third youngest of the six children.
