Marguerite De Bourbon

Marguerite was born in 1211 in Bourbon-l'Archambault, Allier, Bourbonnais/Aubergne, France.¹ Marguerite's father was Count of Bourbon Archambaud VIII De Dampierre and her mother was Guigone De Forez. Her paternal grandparents were Constable of Champagne Gui II De Dampierre and Mahaut De Bourbon. She had a brother and a sister, named Count of Bourbon Archambaud IX and Marie. She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Béatrice. She died at the age of 45 on April 12th, 1256 in Provins, Brie, France.¹
