Sir Edward De Berkeley 
Sir Edward was born in 1581 in Bruton, Somerset, England. Sir Edward's father was Sir Henry De Berkeley and his mother was Margaret Lygon. His paternal grandparents were Sir Maurice de Berkeley and Catherine Blount. He had two brothers and a sister, named Sir Maurice, Sir Henry and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 73 in 1654 in Henrico County, Virginia.-
