Anna was born in 1020 in Constantinople, Byzantine Empire.1   Anna's father was Alexios Pharo and her mother was Dalassene.  Her maternal grandparents were Adrian Dalassene and <Unknown>.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 81 in 1101.1
