Stanley D. was born on July 22nd, 1887 in Alabama. Stanley D.'s father was David D. DAVIS and his mother was Mary Francis DE ARMOND. His paternal grandparents were James DAVIS and Rutha STAPLER. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John Wade, James, Tabitha, Elizabeth R. and Louisa Erin. He was the youngest of the six children.
