John Cotton

John was born about 1436 in Hemstall, Ridware, Staffordshire, England. John's father was Richard Cotton and his mother was Joane Venables. His paternal grandparents were John Cotton and Isabella Fawconer. He had two brothers named Richard and William. He was the second oldest of the three children.
