Sir John Copley 
Sir John was born in 1559 in Warren Hall, Sproatsborough, Yorkshire, England. Sir John's father was Philip Copley and his mother was Mary Hastings. His maternal grandparents were Sir Brian Hastings and Agnes Portington. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Avery, Thomas, William, Frances and Margaret. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 44 in 1603 in Kenilworth Castle, Warwickshire, England.-
